Scratch Golf, LLC was formed in the fall
of 2005 when Doug Martin was presented
with an opportunity to manage the
premier practice facility in the Greater
Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area at
the Golf Ranch-Burlington. Since then,
Scratch Golf has been developed into a
successful golf management group aimed
at better serving the greater Cincinnati
and Northern Kentucky golf market
through professional, friendly,
customer-based service.

To bring the highest level of customer
service available to each person who
walks through our door by offering the
most well trained, customer friendly
staff in the Greater Cincinnati golf
industry.
Mission Statement
Scratch Golf LLC is committed to
providing the premier golf practice and
learning facility for both the avid and
beginner golfers in the Greater
Cincinnati Area. We work toward this
goal on a day to day basis by displaying
the finest customer service through our
clean, family-focused and fun
atmosphere. We are dedicated to
contributing our knowledgeable
professional staff to the golf community
throughout the entire year for their
aid, assistance and development as a
player to further enhance their
enjoyment of the game

Doug Martin
President/Founder/Owner Scratch Golf,
LLC
Doug is a former 9 year PGA Tour
veteran. Doug studied communications
during his playing career at the
University of Oklahoma from 1985-1989
where he collected the 1989 NCAA
National championship. He was also named
an All-American three times during his
stint at Oklahoma. Doug spent 1990-1999
competing on the PGA Tour and contending
regularly.
Doug moved his focus from playing to
teaching the game in 1999, when a severe
back injury ended his playing career.
Currently, Doug works closely with over
100 players, many of which are scratch
players in developing and furthering
their golf careers.
In the fall of 2005, Doug founded
Scratch Golf, LLC to manage golf
facilities in the Greater Cincinnati
area.
Doug is available for private or group
lessons as well as complete equipment

Jonathan Ehlen
General Manager/Professional Golf Instructor
Jonathan is a certified club fitter from
various high end golf club manufacturing
companies including Taylor Made,
Titleist, Callaway and Mizuno. Jonathan was
a member of the Northern Kentucky
University Men’s Golf program from
2003-2007 where NKU marched up the ranks
in the NCAA. He just recently graduated from NKU with a degree in Sports Business and a minor in Business Administration. Jonathan turned pro last July and has been teaching ever since. He brings a lot of energy and enthusiasm to his teaching and strives to make every golfer the best that they can be.
